App licence
For an App Store release, the app licence will use Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement unless an applicable custom licence is stated in the App Store listing. These service and subscription details supplement that licence and do not replace mandatory rights or Apple’s applicable terms.
Your recordings and use
You retain your rights in the content you record, import and create. You are responsible for having the permissions and rights needed to record people, import media and share transcripts, including any consent required by applicable recording laws. Do not use the app to infringe another person’s rights.
Review the words
Automated transcription, timestamps, speaker labels and optional Highlights can contain errors, especially with background noise, accents, overlapping voices or unclear audio. Review results against the recording before relying on or sharing them. Speaker labels are not identity verification. PocketScribe does not provide professional medical, legal or financial advice.
Free allowance and subscriptions
The planned offer is three successful transcriptions free, then an optional monthly or annual subscription for new transcriptions. The allowance does not automatically enroll you in a subscription. Prices, billing period and renewal details will be shown before purchase. See the subscription terms for the planned counting rules, cancellation and restoration.
Local storage and availability
You are responsible for keeping copies of content you wish to preserve. Data can be lost if you delete the app, lose the device or remove backups. Recently Deleted in the development build is recoverable storage, not permanent erasure. See retention details.
Initial model setup needs internet and storage. Device capabilities affect performance. Apple Intelligence is only required for optional Highlights on eligible devices. Features and supported formats may change as development continues.
Consumer rights and changes
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law. Apple manages refunds for Apple-billed purchases subject to its process and applicable law.
We may update these terms to reflect product or legal changes. Material changes will be communicated as appropriate. The current version and update date are available on this page.
